Ep3 - The Barbell Back Squat⁣⁣


The squat should be a staple movement in any training program looking to build size, strength and power in the lower body. ⁣⁣


Coaches Tips: ⁣⁣

- Set your feet roughly shoulder width apart and in a position where you would feel most powerful when jumping. ⁣

- Imagine bending the bar across your shoulders to help keep your torso neutral and lats engaged⁣

- Break at the hips and knees as you sit into the space behind you ⁣⁣


- Look to maintain full body tension throughout the movement to increase efficiency in the lift.⁣
